- Authentication data: One-time passwords (OTPs) used to verify ownership of your email. OTPs are transient and used only for verification.
- Expense data: Expense title, amount, date, assigned profile, notes, and optional receipt/image uploads.
- Profile data: Names and labels you create for profiles (e.g., Mom, Dad).
- Usage data: Anonymous or aggregated usage information, such as feature usage, charts (weekly/monthly/yearly), search and filter activity, and device/browser metadata.
- Support communications: Messages you send to our support email, including account deletion requests.
3. How We Use Your Data
- To provide and operate the App, including account creation, OTP verification, dashboard, expense creation and management, image storage, profile management, search and filtering, and charts.
- To communicate with you about your account, support requests, and important updates.
- To analyze and improve our services (aggregated/anonymous analytics).
- To enforce our Terms of Use and comply with legal obligations.
5. Data Retention & Deletion
We retain account and expense data as long as necessary to provide the service and as described in our Privacy Policy and Terms. If you request deletion of your account, we will start the deletion process after verifying your request and may retain backups or anonymized logs for a limited period to comply with legal obligations.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your data. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security and encourage you to protect your account by using a strong password and notifying us of suspicious activity.
